Overview:
Designed and developed the visual identity for The Great Comedy Debate of 2023, hosted by the hilarious Josh Thomson and featuring a stellar lineup of comedians: Jesse Mulligan, Michele A'Court, Courtney Dawson, Dai Henwood, Perlina Lau, and Eli Matthewson. Filmed live for THREE's month of comedy, this debate-style event delivered humor and sharp wit while tackling humorous yet debatable topics.
The task was to create the branding, look, and feel of the new series, ensuring it resonated with comedy fans while being flexible for use across multiple digital and broadcast formats, including social media platforms and live television on ThreeNow.
Role: Designer & Creative Lead
Developed a consistent design language that worked seamlessly across multiple platforms (including digital ads, broadcast formats, and social media) while maintaining a fun and witty tone reflective of the event's nature.
Crafted dynamic promotional materials, with a focus on formatting for various social media platforms, ensuring optimal engagement.
Worked closely with the Three network and the event’s production team to ensure that the visual style complemented the lively, fast-paced environment of the televised event.
Designed key visual assets to enhance viewer experience and brand identity for the show, while helping build anticipation in the lead-up to the event.
