Project: Flavour Full Art Exhibition

Overview:
Coordinated and led the planning and delivery of the Flavour Full Art Exhibition, Auckland Theatre Company’s first-ever art exhibition. The exhibition featured the works of four contemporary artists: Serval Fandango, Flora Xie, Abbey Gamit, and Ahsin Ahsin, celebrating diverse and exciting creative expressions. Hosted at the Auckland Theatre Company's ASB Waterfront Theatre and AUT Atrium, this exhibition brought together various dynamic and innovative artists for a visual showcase to captivate a diverse audience.
The event received widespread recognition, supported by partners including Auckland Theatre Company, ASB Waterfront Theatre, and the Tautai Contemporary Pacific Arts Trust.
Role: Exhibition Coordinator & Promoter
Managed coordination and execution of the exhibition, overseeing contracts with participating artists and managing sponsor relationships.
Played a pivotal role in the marketing and promotion of the event, utilizing a variety of social media channels and collaboration with art networks to build momentum leading up to the launch.
Facilitated logistical planning for the exhibition’s physical space, working closely with the ASB Waterfront Theatre and supporting teams to ensure smooth setup, installation, and execution of the exhibition.
Ensured cohesive delivery of branding and exhibition theme across all promotional materials and artwork displayed.
Outcome:
Successfully launched the Flavour Full Art Exhibition, which showcased the powerful work of contemporary artists, offering an engaging experience for the public. The event generated significant attention across media outlets and became a notable cultural offering in Auckland, aligning with the city’s dynamic and thriving arts scene.
